Our Approach:

There are 4 stages in a Competitive Intelligence process.

Stage One:
Identify the information objectives including the competitive set and the parameters for evaluation. Obtain all pertinent information from your organization on competitors and your perceptions of the reputations of these companies in the market.

Stage Two:
Obtain and evaluate all published material to establish a baseline understanding of the competitors, their products and services, their market positions and approaches, their market and financial performance, and past and future strategies.

Stage Three:
Conduct in-depth interviews with industry insiders and analysts, past employees of target companies, past and present customers and knowledgeable stakeholders.

Stage Four:
Develop a profile for each competitor based on the findings. These profiles highlight the key elements of the competitor’s strategies and identify strengths and weaknesses. Identify opportunities for you to exploit competitors weaknesses. Present actionable recommendations to better compete in the market over the short and medium term.

Benefits to Clients:

A competitive intelligence assessment delivers a fact-based evaluation of the competitive landscape. It provides a clear view of your market position relative to competitors, and identifies opportunities to differentiate and take advantage of competitors’ weaknesses.
